I am thrilled to announce my new band’s first release Vol. 1 El Prisma! A three-song EP is available on all digital music and streaming platforms.

I am also proud to say that it was entirely recorded, mixed, and mastered at El Caldero, the studio in Brooklyn that Alejandro and I operate together. We are all very happy with the results!

EL Tigre

Sebastián Cruz and the Cheap Landscape Trio “El Tigre” is now available on Bandcamp! This album was a long time in the making. Satoshi Takeishi and I collaborated in the production looking for an approach that would best showcase the bold and highly interactive spirit of the band. It was recorded in 4 live sessions at “El Caldero,” my recording studio in Brooklyn from 2013 to 2015. It wasn’t until early 2020, with the entire world immersed in one of its weirdest and most dramatic global episodes in recent memory, that I got to mix this music. Unable to visit my recording studio or to access fancier audio equipment, but taking advantage of the additional time at home and the introspective nature of the times, I sat down to mix this album.
